exactly as per the instructions but for more detailed instructions
e.g. Create a folder somewhere on your server (e.g. extract_images) upload the unzipped extract_img.php file into it using winzip (or other unzip prog) extract the images xml.gz file of the skin so you end up with xml file only upload this images xml file to the folder you created earlier run the uploaded extract_img.php file via your browser enter the images filename in top box enter where you want them extracted to (e.g. images/) Click submit button when finished ... check the images folder (or whatever name you entered in 2nd box) and all being well .. lo and behold ... the images etc should be there Have tested this and also works with 2.2.1 skin images -------------------- Please do not PM your questions to me, please post in forum and someone will reply, thankyou
If found I have helped you then please feel free to post a comment in my profile, better still how about a small donation to IZE (link at bottom left of page). if worked originally on 2.0.x and also works on 2.2.x then can't see why it won't for versions inbetween

no matter where i do it keeps telling me you dont have permission to access /aqua or whatever or where ever i put it, on this server.
ps. this is what i get when i go to your file NOTE: do not put in a .gz file here. You must extract the XML archive from the .gz file. You can do this with WinRar. ' method='post'> XML location Where to extract to? ', '', $file); $file = str_replace('', '', $file); $file = str_replace('', '', $file); $files = explode('', $file); foreach($files as $finfo){ $content = explode('', $finfo); $content = base64_decode($content[1]); $filename = explode('', $finfo); $path = explode('', $finfo); @mkdir("./".$_POST['xt2']); @chmod("./".$_POST['xt2'], 0777); @mkdir("./".$_POST['xt2']."/".$path[1]); $ddd = @fopen($_POST['xt2']."/".$path[1]."/".$filename[1], 'a+'); @fwrite($ddd, $content); @fclose($ddd); chmod("./".$_POST['xt2']."/".$path[1], 0777); echo "File: ".$path[1]."/".$filename[1]." extracted... created... filled... moving on... "; } } ?> note: then when i hit submit when all the info is accepted i get you dont have permmission to acces/< on this server, theres always a /< after whatever i put in, so theres an error in the php file... -------------------- ![]() |

OMG I needed this so much since my host has safe mode on!!!
If you can't import any images as well (because of the stupid safe mode) then find a host (http://www.cp-free.com/ is great! no stupid safe mode) and upload the script and the xml and extract, download, and upload to the forum on the safe mode host!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AUTHOR! edit: TESTED AND WORKS! This post has been edited by Dania: Mar 17 2007, 07:18 PM |
