Description:
D2-Shoutbox

Modification Description:
This modification is the fully-featured Shoutbox available for IPB.
There is a ton of features, admin options, settings, and more!

D2-Shoutbox is much quicker and easier to install. It is designed with a new smart & advanced installer that installs the templates, mysql queries, rebuilds template caches, and can even save previous Shoutbox data!

I got this installed, but for some reason, I get this message at the top of Main Page settings in the Admin CP:

And the shoutbox doesn't appear on every board page. Did I do something wrong?

Ok I got a problem too

Infact, I also had an error on the ACP

I have the feeling i may have installed it wrong.
Im gonna go try again

EDIT: This time i tried again but instead I uploaded the files after the admin CP changes. It came up with this:

I'm getting errors too...

In the admin panel, the shoutbox category is just called "D".

If you click on any of the shoutbox admin pages... you get:

Warning: do_admin_stuff(./sources/admin/ad_Shoutbox.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/nybbles2/public_html/admin.php on line 862

ALSO, it doesn't seem to be compatible at all with Mozilla Firefox 0.9.2.... Seems to work fine in IE though...

BUT, admin panel works in none, and just the shoutbox settings...

EDIT:

admin panel problems (except for category named "D") seem to be fixed if you make sure that it USES lowercase letters for the admin directory WHEN UPLOADING... My server had to admin dir. admin and Admin....

Still no Firefox compatibility.... You can't push any of the buttons...

I get just the "D" as the admin section title as well. I can open that section and edit anything in there though. Just the name was messed up. Works great otherwise. smile.gif
