I looked at my header bar code, and no it wasn't in there so I went and added it in, but sadly no change.
I mean.. am I missing something else? everything seemed to install just fine. |

A couple of problems I am having installing the shoutbox:
1) The forum becomes rediculously slow 2) The "Mark all posts as read" "Delete cookies set by this board" "View new posts since last visit" and so on.. Don't work, they take u to a blank page 3) Whenever I shout in the shoutbox, I get nothing.. I have to shout, then refresh in order for the shout to show.. Moreoever the text doesnt get erased from the Input window, I need to press clear to erase it 4) Some admin options like "Settings" dont work.. Any help with these issues is appreciated very much! |

helo
why the shoutbox show like this 2 different name - 1 is username and 1 is display id... shoutbox show username and forum show display id... ppl may be confused by the 2 different names but is same user so I suggest changing showing username in shoutbox to display ID so that ppl wont be confused. anyone can help? thanks |

Somebody must upgrade the shoutbox so when somebody messages it appears fast... like vbulletin.. the vbulletin shoutbox rocks man!! its almost like a chat system integrated on ur page!!
somebody do something to create a fast shoutbox.. like the technology in vbulletin.. |

Ok, here is my "problem" well actually 3 shoutbox skinning problems in one.
1. When I give .row1 or .row2 borders in the IPB2 css, it gives the shoutbox these strange lines I do not like. I am looking for the .row1 or .row2 class in the d2 shoutbox skinning areas that makes it so it'll have row1 or row2's borders if i give them one, where is it exactly? I can't find it 2. Almost the same question as the previous question, but i want to not have .row1 or .row2's background color. 3. I don't know how to explain this one but, the outer box in the shoutbox is stretched further than the inner one... or should I say the shoutbox is stretched to be the size of my board, but the area where you see the shouts, the shout button, the clear button, etc. doesn't stretch to fit the whole shoutbox. It does this when I put my board's "width" to auto instead of 100%, but i need to keep it auto for many reasons. If you do not understand what I am saying, go here to my board and you'll see it. The Kaon Domain where do I go in the shoutbox skinning to fix that one? EDIT: ok i did #3, i still need to know #1 and #2 This post has been edited by Bhegeta: Feb 17 2006, 01:05 PM |

The guys who make these mods make them in their free time. They're not obligated to support you when you can't install their mods. Show some respect... I've seen about 100 times more peolpe asking for help than anyone actually thanking Dean, or any of the other coders -------------------- |
