UPDATE:

Now, that's all that will be included in the upcoming beta release. However, in light of some suggestions for items, there will be external item packages that I will release as they are dependent on other mods being installed. Mods that the store will use/manipulate are: Dean's shoutbox, AH Modding's reputation system, ntd's download system & signature restriction system, and IDM(Invision Download Manager) These item packages will be an easy install, st0re will do all the work besides the file edits. (IDM will have a good bit of edits. At least 5.)

All item requests will be ignored from now on, until I get a full, stable release. Once I've done that, I'll start writing development/usage articles to help everyone out, and then I'll work on items.

I removed the subscriptions system for this release as I honestly do not feel like dealing with it for now. It will be done, just not now.

I estimate the beta release to be within the next couple of days.

Read the install. If you want users to get points per post/topic, you have to do two edits to sources/classes/class_post.php. If you want to display their store information in topics, you have to edit the skin, and topics.php.

I'd prefer ya'll to do the class_sessions update, but it's not mandatory & the store can function fine without it.

I'd like you to post any bugs you find, or PM me them. I've went over it for the past two hours and corrected everything I found. No matter how big or small the bug is, I want to know. Whether it is a missing caption, or a PHP warning/error. Or if you think it's just not supposed to do what it's doing, please tell me!

1/22: Here is the updated files, you should receive absolutely no errors with this. There are only 4 items in this release, the rest will be included in the next release.

could this be compatable with other points systems? and i would like the subscription system addon

It's going to be a totally different points/store system. However, there will be a tool to convert your current point system to mine. All you'd have to do is select the points column(s) that you'd like to convert. Or, I might make it one step simpler & have some preselected columns for specified mods, IE iPoints, ibStore, Dean's, Perfect Points, etc etc.

Sounds like just another Ibstore !!

I've already added a point recounting feature. Along with other tools I feel are useful for store systems. I should have some screenshots ready within the next few days(I work on the coding end first, then the skin view)

On the other hand.....thus far, it's very compatible with 2.1, which means I won't have much to downgrade, if anything, to have a 2.1 release. Maybe I'll have the 2.1 release ready before 2.2 comes out in a final release...since I haven't seen any set date for that.

I really like that idea. That would be the easiest way in the world to get money for a forum.

Also, what are some of your "Pre-added items"?

So far....

Downloads(I'm going to make it compatible with download systems if I can when modders upgrade their mods to 2.2. But for now, the file is served via my script...)
Title styles(Glow, shadow, colour, bold, italic, etc.) - Comes with a dynamic preview as well, so users don't have to buy things they aren't sure of what they'll look like.
Username styles(same as title)
Forum access(To specific forums. Perhaps 'VIP' members, I dunno.)

Not all 100% done, but for the most part they are.

Any other ideas are welcome.

-Ability to change custom member title
-Change topic title and description ability
-Close own topic ability
-Delete own topic ability
-Avoid flood control ability
-More PM storagable messages
-More people mass PM
-Ability to change display name so many times
-Can use PM attachments for so much space

Good ideas, twist3dkyl3. I'll see what I can do with them.

And ICED, I'm not sure how you can determine looks of a mod by solely knowing its features, but I assure you that it looks different than IBStore.

In my opinion...there's a lot left that can be done for a store mod(based on my view of the current ones), whether it be add-on features, style, usability, or the forum-wide possibilities of it's items/stats/features.

I like to think that I have a great concept of how stores should be because my site is essentially based off of a hard coded store I did.
