The only board i tried beside IPB is phoBB.
I liked it and the way you navigate, and in the beginning i coulndt find my way around the admin cp. I were also frustrated over that you have to "open a new page" in the menu for expanding/collapsing. BUT now that i know how to navigate IPB is the best forum software. I tried to install a skin on phpBB and it starting messing up, even though i am not too happy with the .tar method in IPB. I dont think that i will ever change form IPB, it has the greatest mods (thanks to you guys), and you cant much more than e.g phpBB. And the fact that the original skin for IPB is way better than any phpBB skin i ever seen, maakes me like IPB even more.

I first started with Proboards for a around 5-7 months way back...Then I used Invision Free for about a month, heh. Then I found Invision Power Board.
It was just simply amazing! The skinning, the features, the customization! IPB is very customizable and a lot of really great mods! I've been using IPB since...June 2003. --------------------  |

I voted for IPB, I use it on 3 of my sites. I have admined large Vbulletin forums before but honestly I just decied to go with IPB as a personal choice and really enjoy the new version.
