G'Day to all of you! (Yea im Aussie)

Over the past few days, the management and staff of Invisionize have been discussing giving out a preview of Invisionize to our values users, and as such decided to do exactly that.

At its current stage, there is still a lot of work to be done before the final release and there are plenty of text mistakes and bugs, and as such due to said bugs found it to be more appropriate to infact release these previews via screenshots.

As each section of the site comes online within our development, we will port them over to the preview section and you will be made aware via this topic whenever updates are made. We hope that it doesn't take too long to finally share with you either a working demo or, even more hopefully, release the final candidate onto the live website.

Isn't that about what we already have here, except for that queer sidebar that IPB has come up with?

That is what we tried to tell you guys, But you insisted on seeing a preview, so we thought that we might as well.
It looks almost the same, just a bit sleeker, and there are still some fixes to be applied.

Got to admit, it looks a lil better.

I think it looks pretty good for IPB 3.0.x Keep up the good work IZE Staff!

It looks good but well, I have a little suggestion. I'd love to see that green member bar removed. IPB 3 made a better new "member bar", why do you try to avoid it? I understand it's difficult to make changes to such a big community but, you should try doing at least some little ones even if we can consider IPB 3 and your little design revamp to be a change.

A bit disappointed. I think you should redo the design keeping the same look and feel.

Would love an option of either minimizing the marketplace bar (premium skins or whatever) or the option (in user settings) to keep it from showing (member's choice)

I don't know about a Poll, but feel free to make recommendations and suggestions, however the skin has already been developed and when we receive the final skin, I don't believe it is editable for the same fixed price any longer.

Giggsey may have to make the call regarding direct skin changes, simple code modifications of course ! (such as marketplace info) feel free to make those kind of suggestions to your hearts content, and I'm sure the team will look them over.

We can always change the smaller things later, but the base graphics have already been made and we're probably not changing those. I don't think the green member bar is appealing either, but we can always change that.

In some ways I agree that we should use some of the 3.0 features as far as the user section goes... and finally fully use that upper right corner [ User CP | Logout ] and integrate it with the rest of the databases. Primarily because we have used the concept a while, just haven't built too heavily upon it.

Good thing is, it maintains Invisionize's current look, it wouldn't be too difficult for end-users to adapt with the new IZE--as usually change in theme means change in how the user interact swith the site. Some gradients looked degraded, but I believe it is caused by the file format of the screenshot (.JPG).

Still, I personally feel there are some to be work with. The member bar is one of them; the others are the New Topic, Add Reply, Edit, Quote, etc buttons. Those buttons seem to be bad compared to the ones in IZE now. Some work on the fonts, perhaps?
