Iterators for IPB SDK (PHP5 Only)
Category: Website Integration Compatibility: Invision Power Board Demo: http:// Description: This IPB SDK addon gives you an improved interface to accessing the list_forum_topics() and list_topic_posts() functions of IPB SDK. Notably it allows you to avoid the limitations of the native SDK functions, which required "start" and "limit" attributes, making getting all topics/posts almost impossible. IPB SDK modification can be found at http://mods.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/1075. Installation, example uses, etc. are documented in readme.txt. New features of PHP5 object model used: - Iterator pattern - Overloading - Private and Protected Members - Private and Protected Methods - __construct() View Modification |

Is it not possible to have this on anything older than PHP5? I have PHP 4.3... or something, but I would like to have the same functionality as this update provides.

Hey,
Unfortunetly older versions do not support iterator interfaces, etc. as far as I know. You can write something similar for PHP 4 but it requires quite a bit more work. Cow -------------------- |

We run PHP 5... nice and cheapy cheap too
