The system looks great. Just a couple of things that I need cleared up.
QUOTE You also grant invisionize a permanent distribution license, meaning that we reserve the right to continue distributing this file indefinitely. If I longer wish to sell a particular product, I can't take down my own work? QUOTE You also agree to pay the re-listing fee at the end of each week period. Any details of this fee? Is it a weekly fee we pay? Oh and one more thing, will there be redirection only listings in the future? For those of us with our own payment system. For our Marketplace, if you wish to have your modifications or skins removed, please contact any member of any Team. The re-listing fee is a percentage of product's cost. On average, it is 25%. However, for certain people, we advertise their products a little more, so for some people it's a little higher. However, if you made no deal with Invisionize, it's still 25%. For security reasons, we only authorize payments through our IPN. It allows us to track payments and defer hackers. Our system is very secure, and only accepts 100% valid and correct payments. -------------------- |

Fair enough. For most people it should be a good deal as there is nothing to pay unless you make cash yourself

When clicking Add File:
CODE Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or '{' or '$' in /home/invision/public_html/market/modules/mod_submit.php on line 109 Let's say I have a mod that costs $20 (only dollars btw, no euros?), does that mean I have to pay you $5 a week just to (re)list my mod? Kind of a gamble I'm taking then, I need to know for sure my mod will sell like crazy before considering to add it. Come to think of it, I would like to see encoded mods tagged as such, before I purchase them. And the possibility to view a demo (especially with skins), even though you don't allow people to enter their own site. This post has been edited by Alfredo: Jan 5 2009, 10:31 PM |

Yeah what Alfredo said comes to mind. I mean a bunch of mods on IPS resources don't get sold at all, to my knowledge. Some, sorry - not 'a bunch'.
It is indeed taking quite a gamble. And viewing demo with skins should be restricted to image only with a 'preview' image so it can't be ripped. I think that is the reason why manha doesn't have live demos except for temporary demos when chatting on MSN. btw manha, your skins are freaking amazing o.o I dunno how you do it, ahahah. Mods should definitely have a demo or preview or something, imo. -------------------- Opening Windows 7 site...interested? |

More images of skins then, just the index page really isn't enough.
Oh, and you're trying to escape single quotes twice, which leads to an error when adding a comment: CODE mySQL query error:
INSERT INTO ibf_posts(author_id,use_sig,use_emo,ip_address,post_date,icon_id,post,author_name,topi c_id,new_topic,queued) VALUES('194029','1','0','','1231216827','0','Third time I\\'m opening this page now, what a great looking skin.','Alfredo','140270','0','0') This post has been edited by Alfredo: Jan 5 2009, 10:44 PM |

You only pay a re-listing fee if your mod was purchased that week. The billing period is weekly. -------------------- |

So, it's 25% PLUS a listing fee?

No, you pay a "re-listing fee" of 25% once a week, but only if your mod was purchased that week (that's basically what
So my mod costs $20 and features 0 sales in the first week, 8 in the second week, 0 in the third week, 2 in the fourth week. I earn $200 - $10, which is your share? This post has been edited by Alfredo: Jan 5 2009, 11:02 PM |
