If anyone's ever hung around Neowin, you may have seen how they can post count lock threads, instead of forums like it normally is. The thread also has its title italicized so you know it's post count locked.

Is it possible someone might be able to make such a mod that anyone can use?

I don't know what would be required unless I request some things. Basically the option is obviously only for admins and super mods, and maybe in that drop down menu where moderation options are. It doesn't need any other settings.

I hope I did this request right. First time in this section and I only just started posting yesterday.

Oh, and thank you in advance, if anyone does try this. I'm sure a lot of people might want to have this mod.

Elaberate, I have no clue what 'post count lock threads' means..

Okay, normally when you have a forum, and in the admincp when you create a forum, you can chose whether to allow posts in that forum to increase a member's post count.

But on the forum I used as an example above, they have a mod that can do this effect on threads.

So I'm requesting a mod that can "post count lock" threads. Normally it's only possible with forums.

I'm guessing it'd be an option in the moderation menu and only available to those with moderator powers (for example, admins and super mods).

2.1 will have this feature.

I won't be able to go to 2.1, unless they have free unlimited trials again, which I highly doubt.
