Is it possible to adjust moderation options (super moderator) such as edit, delete, and move options for posts and topics to work only in certain forums? I want to grant the moderators on my forums those powers (edit, delete, and post), but I only want it to work in specified forums and not in other forums (such as administrative forums). So far I can only find it in "Manage User Groups < Settings" under "Moderations Permissions < Is Super Moderator (can moderate anywhere)?" as a "Yes/No" option; there is no way to configure it to work by specified forum (similar to "Manage Permissions").
Please help me if you can so that I can hire some moderators without worrying that they can edit/delete very important posts/topics. Thank you! This post has been edited by aemo: Feb 1 2010, 04:08 AM |

You just go to the forums manage in acp and click show moderator option. Then click the forum and at the botton you can add a member by name as moderator of that forum only. They don't even need moderator group.
