The topic view got messed up last night and I have no idea how to fix it (see attached pic).
It only happens from my computer at home, not anywhere else, and happend out of the blue. It also affects my girlfriends login, when at the same computer. None of the other members on the borad are affected. I'm running windows 7 and IE. Firefox does not have this problem but I cant keep firefox stable right now. ????  ****Edit: Chrome is working normal as well. This has got to be a local IE settings thing, I just cant figure it out! Above the topic on right side of screen is options. Hit the arrow down and under Display Modes choose standard.

That's linear mode, or the other one. Do as stated above and it will fix it.

Yup, that did it
 Thanks guys But how embarrassing… 1) I’ve been using IPB since about 2000 (10 years) and have a heavily modded board (by me), you’d think I’d know my way around to know these things! Geeze! 2) I’m at work now and my access is limited, but my girl friend text me and told me she fixed it, in exactly the way you guys describe. Oh well. FIXED. THANKS!!! |

Hey, don't feel bad. I did the same thing about a year ago. Makes me wonder if there is a way to 100% disable the feature.
