Hell, some server admins may refuse there clients and say "No, your not allowed install it". They have a point, it isnt very secure. Besides that, it lacks some essential features and its got a fair few bugs. IPS of course dont support it, officaly or unofficaly. We are the only resource site that supports it (that im aware of) and will continue to do so as long as there is interest. However, dont let that put you off. Pit of IBForen (and of course Invisionize!) has developed an excellent mod which covers all known security issues, bugs and adds some of those essential features to IPBv1.3.1. Its an excellent piece of work, and Pit is an excellent and highly skilled developer who sticks with keeping the older version of IPB up-to-date, squashing bugs and fixing those dreaded security issues to keep those hackers away! Enough chit-chat. The name of the mod, developed by Pit, is -- you guessed it -- "Security Fixes, Updates And Enhancements for IPB 1.3.1". Check it out here for more information. We appreciate those who continue to help in this support forum, espicaly those who dont use that version anymore but still like to help out.
