IN-DEPTH STANDALONE CLANS:

I would like to see a clan modification that has at least the following options (options in italics are preferred but not required):

-Clan (link to clans, i.e. act=Clan, in the navigation bar)
-List Clans (lists all of the current clans that exist, each one linking to an information page with the stats listed below included)
-Create A Clan (forum members with admin cp access can give certain members the ability to create X clans)
-Join A Clan (lets members request to join a clan, and the clan leader will receive a PM notifying him/her of the request)
-Clan Competitions (lists all current, past, and upcoming competitions...each one linking to an information page with the details on the competition including participants, starting date, ending date, prizes, rules/guidelines, and objectives; only members with admin cp access can create new competitions)

-Clan CP (* = clan leader option only)
-Manage Clan (add, remove, invite, suspend, ban, etc.)*
-Manage Clan News (create news articles/announcements for other clan members to read)
-Read Clan News (read current news regarding the clan; i.e. new objectives, updates on progress)
-Leave Clan (leaders leaving their own clan must set a new leader at the time of their leave)
-Role in Clan (i.e. "graphic creation"; custom text field)

Each clan would have the following stats
-Clan Name (set by clan leader at time of creation)
-Clan Wins (members with admin cp access can add X points to a clan's "win" total)
-Clan Members (amount of members in the clan, obviously)

One section in the Admin CP with the follwing subsections
-Manage Clans (create, delete, modify, reorder how their listed, add/remove clan news, etc.)
-Manage Clan Members (add, remove, suspend, ban, etc.; possibly include a search page where you can search within clans or for certain members, or both)
-Manage Competitions (create, delete, open/start, close/end, set winner, etc.)

I think that is the entirety of it. If the job is done well enough, I will pay you.

I know there are people out there who could make this mod. I am offering payment, keep in mind. This is the single most important mod that I need to have done, and no one is willing to make it...it makes me sad

Sounds like a great mod. Too bad I don't know php coding that well, or I would be glad to help. I could use something like this. 'Would get some good use.

What type of competitions?

What do you mean by suspend? What's the point of suspending him/her?

Logo space for competitions?

The role in clan is supposed to replace the custom title?

Competitions. In the Admin CP or somewhere, I can create a new competition (name, objective, start date, end date, and prizes), and then it will list them on some sort of Clan mainpage section.

Suspend. I mean where Clan leaders can temporarily suspend members in their clan...this one isn't really required though.

Logos for clans would be handy, but it's not required or anything.

The role in clan part should be an added line of text in the member's post-information (under the team icons and titles, preferably).

Seeing as how Pacifist has abandoned this modification, is there anyone else who could make it? I know I'm not the only one who would use it, if it is made well enough.

I would VERY much like to see this completed! I've been waiting for a decent Clans mod for years.

Despite the tremendous amount of potential such a mod holds, there still isn't anyone willing to make it -- which is odd, because you'd think someone would jump at the opportunity to make this mod for the mod contest ::scratches head:: go figure.

Sounds like a good idea, I need something similiar but not as many options, if this was made I could make do.

Personally, I think it would be cool if Outlaw or supersmashbrothers would release just a clans mod that works with IBStore. Not army and all that stuff, just clans. There was a mod way way back for 1.3, but whoever made it dropped it and never fixed any bugs. There hasn't been a single Clans mod since...
