Well, something is wrong with the uploads directory.
I've tried the regular importing of skins, but it doesn't show up and I can't figure out why, and I looked everywhere. So I decided to try manual importing, which worked fine on my own forum, but on the forum I'm currently working on, it's not working. The error message I get is: "Could not locate the uploads directory - make sure the 'uploads' path is set correctly" And I searched around the forums, and most of what I saw said to chmod to 777, which I did, but it still won't work. So um.. Anyone feel like helping?  Oh, and the version is 1.3 if that's any help. This post has been edited by OpethVenom: Oct 7 2006, 09:53 AM |

are you sure the uploads path/url are set correct in conf_global.php file ?

Well, I'm not sure if the upload url should be set how it is right now. If you can see below.
They're set as: $INFO['upload_dir'] = '/home/xxxxxxx/public_html/forum/uploads'; $INFO['upload_url'] = 'http://xxxxxxx.com/forum/uploads'; And sorry about the x's, I just don't wanna give the name of the forum. This post has been edited by OpethVenom: Oct 7 2006, 10:35 AM |

all can suggest then is double check you have CHMOD 777 the uploads folder

Dang, well I just checked and it is 777, so I really don't know.
