An easy working YouTube link BBCode... no more of having to only put the code like P3CxhBIrBho making users having to cut and paste and things like that.. but now for the lazy approach! Paste the whole link in as you see it on YouTube example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3CxhBIrBho


NOTE: This currently is completely operational for IPB 2.3 (v1.0) once I get my hands on a copy of IPB 3 I'll update it.


My thoughts: I've seen many YouTube BBCode mods but usually you have to cut out the video code eg: P3CxhBIrBho and put that in... kinda annoying.. I like to just go to my browser and copy paste http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3CxhBIrBho, I know I'm lazy . But the way that YouTube handles embedded links and actual links is a little bit different, so I am working on this mod so that you can just copy and paste the whole link.


What v1.0 has:
-The ability to to do the following - Works


What v2.0 will have:
-Admin can set default sizes and border colors for their board (example if they want it so when a user embeds a youtube video to be at 500x600 or whatever).
-User can then change default if so desired and if Admin allows it. (Possibly putting something like )

Note as I said this mod is currently functional for 2.3 its awaiting verification on the site to be distributed, once I get a copy of IPB 3 I'll see if I can put this there as well.

If anyone wants a demo link just ask.
